Padi logoHeron Island is situated 534 Km North of Brisbane and is an amazing experience for divers of all abilities. There are many indigenous bird species and between December and March is a breeding ground for Green Sea Turtles. The Island is part of a double reef system which means there are over 20 dive sites within a very small area, most can be reached in 15 minutes or less. There are over 800 different species of fish in the area providing ample opportunities for photography enthusiasts.
