A similar dive to the Pinnacles site and named after the basalt pillars that have overturned on the bottom. Excellent hiding places abound for the more retiring animals whilst several large schools patrol the area. This is a great place to see the beautiful Angel Fish and the Maori Wrasse. The different coral formations will be of great attraction to most divers. A very accessible site but like many in the area is susceptible to changeable currents. Make sure there are experienced divers in the party. |
